Fibroblast Stem Cell Therapy
Collagen is the main building material produced by fibroblast cells of our connective tissue.
If we compare connective tissue to a wall, collagen is the brick stones of this wall. Over
the years, collagen production decreases. Skin symptoms such as loosening, wrinkling and
pores appear due to the decrease in the production of this carrier main substance of the
skin.
Fibroblast stem cell therapy is a method of self-injection of one's own cells
known as youth cells. A tissue sample is obtained from the person, the cells are reproduced
in a laboratory environment and re-injected into the person. With this method called
autologous cultured fibroblast, collagen production is increased with the person's own
tissue, giving the skin youth, freshness and a dynamic structure. It can also be used in the
treatment of acne scars.
It helps us to put the brakes on aging significantly.
Therefore, it is recommended to be used in combination with other rejuvenation methods. It
may not be enough alone.
What is done before the
procedure?
Detailed medical history, patient examination, patient
expectations, information about the procedure, pre-procedure photography, post-procedure
evaluation of the results together. Since it requires preliminary preparation, a 0.5 cm
tissue sample is often taken from behind the ear under local anesthesia. The tissue sample
is sent to laboratories. Here, your own fibroblast cells are reproduced in a culture
environment under special conditions. The tissue area is closed with a single stitch.
Approximately 3-4 weeks later, the patient is called back for the transplantation of the
tissue.
How should the procedure be performed?
The obtained
cells are sent in special fillers in an easily injectable consistency. The procedure does
not require anesthesia. It is injected by microinjection method under office circumstances.
The procedure takes about 10-15 minutes. It can be applied to the face, neck, décolleté and
hands that need collagen production.
What should be considered after the
procedure?
It can be washed an hour after the procedure, eating and
drinking is free. After fibroblast stem cell application, there may be redness, swelling
and/or bruising in the application area, just like toxin application. The person can easily
go to work the next day. It takes 1 week to 10 days for the effectiveness to be seen.
Depending on the needs of the person, repeat sessions may be required and can be combined
with other mesotherapies or filling procedures.
